Ben O'Donoghue & Curtis Stone - Surfing the menu

Ok I have to admit now I am a big sucker for very cute celebrity chefs & Ben & Curtis are no exception. As well as looking good, their tv series 'Surfing the menu' of which the 3rd series has just completed, showcases some awesome parts of Australia so as well as seeing them cook up some scrumptious regional produce each show you also get to see a gorgeous part of the country, many of which if you are like me you have never been to or in some cases even heard of. Have lots of new holiday ideas form this show! This book is from the first series & has some spectacular photos of the wonderful places they have been & the boys give a bit of an intro to each area before presenting their recipes. Here is what I have cooked up so far...

Abrolhos Islands
Barbecued Hot & Sour Tuna Escalopes

Broome
Banana Semi Freddo

Hunter Valley
Char Sui Pork with Asian vegetables
Pears baked in red wine and vanilla

Tasmania
Pink-Eye Potato, Olive and Caper Salad

Margaret River
Peppered Duck breast, poached balsamic figs & garlic crisps with Jus Gras

Bellarine Peninsula
Grilled T-Bone steak with garlic & anchovy butter

Byron Bay
Barbecued Sweet Corn with Lime, Chilli & Parmesan Butter
Pear & Macadamia Nut Crumble
